Radiate Gratitude: A Summer Gratitude Practice
Summer has a way of slipping by before we realize just how much beauty it held.
The sweetest moments are often the simplest—fresh herbs right outside your door, the taste of a perfectly ripe peach, an evening walk, a phone call with a friend (which we usually refer as an old-fashioned 80's convo), laughter around the table, or the quiet peace of watching the sun set.
These are the moments I want to remember.
Radiate Gratitude is a simple summer gratitude practice I created as a gentle invitation to notice these moments as they happen.
The idea is simple: throughout the summer, write something you're grateful for on each ray of the sun. It can be something meaningful or wonderfully ordinary. A person who made your day brighter. Something beautiful you noticed. A moment that made you laugh. A small kindness. A favorite summer memory.
There are no rules and no timeline. Simply add to it whenever something makes you pause and think, I'm grateful for this.
By the time summer comes to a close, you'll have a sun filled with reminders of the joy, kindness, beauty, and simple pleasures that were woven into your days.
I've started filling in my own Radiate Gratitude sun to share as a little inspiration, and I've created a blank printable for you to make your own.
My hope is that Radiate Gratitude becomes something we return to with each new season—a simple practice of pausing, reflecting, and noticing what's good right where we are.
Because sometimes gratitude isn't about looking for something extraordinary.
It's simply about noticing what's already there.
Happy savoring. ☀️
